Abstract
A 64-year-old male patient visited our clinic complaining of tingling sensation on the lateral side of left ankle for about one year. He had no history of trauma. His symptom gradu-ally increased and nothing aggravated or alleviated his symptom. On sensory nerve conduction study, left sural nerve was not evoked whereas right side was normally evoked. Needle electromyographic examination of the left low extremity was normal. On the ultrasonography, we found two continuing fusiform shaped mass (6¡¿3¡¿6 and 6¡¿4¡¿20 mm) in the sural nerve. Operation for biopsy and decompression was done, and 7.3¡¿0.3 cm of intranueral ganglion was confirmed. After operation, his symptoms were much improved except minor sensory discomfort on the same area.
